In substance, all of the grievances claim that the employer had violated the collective agreement by not extending to the grievors, the week-end shift premium which had been negotiated for employees in the correctional bargaining unit during wage bargaining.
At the hearing convened on March 6, 2006, the union advised the Board that it was not pursuing the grievance any further. In the circumstances, all of these grievances are hereby dismissed.
Dated this 13th day of March 2006 at Toronto, Ontario.
