HEARING

Decision
In a decision dated January 9, 2006, I issued the following order.
To ensure a fair and expeditious hearing in this matter, I direct as follows:
The employer shall allow the union access to the grievor’s personnel file.
By January 20, 2006 the union shall provide further particulars about the two grievances already before me and particulars about the five additional grievances that the union seeks to consolidate with this matter.
By February 3, 2006, the employer shall respond to the union’s request for consolidation.
By April 12, 2006, the employer shall notify the union of any preliminary objections.
I now make the following modifications to the foregoing order.
The grievor is entitled to see his personnel file before providing particulars.
The deadline for the union providing particulars is extended to March 20, 2006 for medical reasons. The employer has served notice it may seek medical documentation in support of any request for a further extension.
The deadline for the employer responding to the request for consolidation is extended to April 3, 2006
The deadline for the employer notifying the union of any preliminary objections is extended to May 5, 2006
Issued at Toronto this 20th day of February 2006
