HEARING
February 5, 2004.
Decision
This grievance arises out of the 2002 work stoppage in the Ontario public service. The grievor was scheduled to work on April 17, 18 and 19. She did not work, having elected not to cross a picket line, even though she was invited to cross by the picket captain. In the grievance, she contends she should be paid ‘for showing up for work … when requested by management.” In the circumstances, the grievor is not entitled to be paid.
Dated at Toronto this 30th day of April 2004.
