DECISION
This grievance came on for mediation-arbitration hearing in North Bay on October 15, 2003. The employer raised a preliminary objection going to the jurisdiction of the Board to hear this matter.
The grievor claims that she was not properly compensated for the work she performed as a payroll clerk. The grievance is dated April 10, 2003. There is another grievance, dated July 21, 2003, in which the grievor specifically claims that she is improperly classified.
After hearing the submissions of the parties, I am of the view that the April 10, 2003 grievance is also a claim of improper classification. Accordingly, this Board is without jurisdiction to entertain the matter, and it is hereby referred to the Joint System Subcommittee (JSSC) to be heard with the grievance dated July 21, 2003.
Dated at Toronto, Ontario this 20th day of October, 2003.
