HEARING October 2, 2001.
DECISION
This matter involves the grievance of Piero Greco. It was scheduled for hearing at the Board’s offices in Toronto, on October 2, 2001, to commence at 10:00 a.m. The Union advised that it, and its counsel, had left numerous telephone messages and sent correspondence to the grievor advising him of the need to attend the hearing. Nevertheless, the grievor failed to attend, and did not provide the Union with any assistance in preparing. The parties waited until 11:00 o’clock a.m. In view of the grievor’s failure to attend, the Union withdrew the grievance.
Dated at Toronto, this 4th day of October, 2001.
