HEARING January 9, 2001.
Decision
The Parties referred this union policy grievance regarding the payment of “stand-by” pay to mediation/arbitration in accordance with article 22.16 of the collective agreement.
At the outset of the hearing, the Parties agreed that I had jurisdiction to deal with this matter and they requested that I issue a without prejudice decision with no reasons.
Having carefully reviewed the evidence and the submissions of the Parties, I find that there has been no violation of the collective agreement.
Accordingly, the grievance is dismissed.
Dated at Markham, this 12th day of January, 2001.
