HEARING Conference call March 23, 2000
Order:
Counsel for the union made a motion to the board for an adjournment of the hearing scheduled in this matter for March 23, 2000. Having heard and considered the submissions of the parties by telephone conference call on March 22, 2000, I decided to grant the adjournment on the following conditions.
The grievors must contact the union within three months of Mr. Northover’s return to work from sick leave, so that the union may contact the Board to set a hearing date in this matter, if the parties wish to proceed;
If the hearing date is not set within three months of Mr. Northover’s return to work form sick leave the grievances will be deemed to be abandoned.
