The hearing on the merits (the “Hearing”) of this matter was scheduled to commence on April 30, 2019 at the Ontario College of Teachers (the “College”) at Toronto. Andrew James Philbrook (the “Member”) was not in attendance for the Hearing, nor was his legal counsel, Joshua S. Phillips of Ursel Phillips Fellows Hopkinson LLP.

Prior to the commencement of the Hearing, Counsel for the College advised the Committee that Member was bringing a motion, on consent, seeking an adjournment of the Hearing.

DECISION ON MOTION

Having considered the submissions of the parties and given the parties’ consent to adjourn the hearing, the Committee grants the Member’s motion to adjourn this hearing sine die (i.e. without assigning a future hearing date).
