ORAL DECISION AND ORDER
This matter came on for hearing before a panel of the Discipline Committee (the “Committee”) of the Ontario College of Teachers (the “College”) on July 26, 2016 at Toronto.
The Member was not in attendance at the hearing and was not represented by legal counsel.
ORAL DECISION
Having considered the evidence and the case law produced, the onus and standard of proof, the submissions made by Counsel for the College and the Member’s written remarks, the Committee finds that the facts support a finding of professional misconduct. In particular, the Committee finds Youssef Benabdallah Chaouni guilty of professional misconduct, contrary to Ontario Regulation 437/97, subsections 1(5), 1(7.2), 1(7.3), 1(15), 1(16), 1(17), 1(18) and 1(19).
PENALTY DECISION
The Committee makes the following penalty order:
The Committee directs the College Registrar to revoke the Member’s Certificate of Qualification and Registration; and
The Committee directs that a summary of its decision and order be published in the College’s official publication, Professionally Speaking/Pour parler profession, including the Member’s name.
