DECISION ON MOTION
Counsel for the College brought a motion to seek leave from the Committee to withdraw the allegations set out in the Notice of Hearing (Exhibit #1) dated July 16, 2009.
Robert George White, deceased, was not in attendance.
College Counsel provided evidence to the Committee that the Member passed away on September 17, 2012 as shown in Proof of Death Certificate (Exhibit #2).
Having considered the submissions made by Counsel for the College, the Committee authorizes the College to withdraw the allegations of professional misconduct against Robert George White set out in the Notice of Hearing (Exhibit # 1) dated July 16, 2009.
The Notice of Hearing (Exhibit # 1) will be endorsed as follows:
“Notice of Hearing withdrawn at the request of College with the permission of the Committee on April 23, 2013.”
The withdrawal of the allegations is appropriate as the Member is deceased. The Committee is satisfied that the withdrawal of the allegations is not contrary to the public interest.
