DECISION ON MOTION
Counsel for the College brought a motion to seek leave from the Committee to withdraw the allegations set out in the Notice of Hearing dated September 24, 2010.
William Alfred Scott was not in attendance.
College counsel advised that the particulars leading to the allegations in this case have been addressed by another Committee of the College. As a result, terms, conditions and limitations have been placed on the Member’s certificate. College counsel indicated that the allegations addressed by another Committee of the College are connected in time and cause and therefore it is not in the public interest for this matter to proceed to discipline. College counsel indicated that the public is better protected by the Order of another Committee of the College.
Having considered the submissions of College Counsel, and upon the consent of the parties, the Committee authorizes the College to withdraw the allegations of professional misconduct against William Alfred Scott set out in the Notice of Hearing dated September 24, 2010.
