REASONS FOR DECISION AND DECISION ON MOTION
Counsel for the College brought a motion to seek leave from the Committee to withdraw the allegations set out in the Notice of Hearing dated August 28, 2007.
Stephen John Walasek was not in attendance.
College Counsel advised the Committee that the Member has retired his membership in the College and has undertaken not to reapply for reinstatement or to teach in any school requiring members to hold a certificate of qualification. Further, Counsel advised that there would be a notation on the Public Register of this undertaking.
Having considered the submissions of College counsel and upon the consent of the parties, the Committee authorizes the College to withdraw the allegations of professional misconduct against Stephen John Walasek as set out in the Notice of Hearing dated August 28, 2007.
