REASONS FOR DECISION, DECISION AND ORDERS
Counsel for the College brought a motion to seek leave from the Discipline Committee to withdraw the allegations set out in the Notice of Hearing dated July 12, 2007.
The Committee considered the submissions of College counsel and counsel for the Member. Upon the consent of the parties, the Committee authorizes the College to withdraw the Notice of Hearing for Yves Joseph Fernand Jacques Thérien and to withdraw the allegations of professional misconduct and incompetence against him set out in the Notice of Hearing dated July 12, 2007.
The Committee concludes that the withdrawal of the Notice of Hearing in these circumstances is reasonable and serves and protects the public interest.
