Angus Shiva Mungal was not present.
This matter came on for hearing before a panel of the Discipline Committee on September 15, 2003 at the Ontario College of Teachers at Toronto.
Counsel for the College advised the Discipline panel that the College was seeking an order from the Discipline panel granting the College leave to withdraw the allegations set out in the Notice of Hearing against Angus Shiva Mungal. Counsel for the Member consented to the withdrawal of the allegations.
The panel considered the submissions of College counsel and counsel for the Member. Upon the consent of the parties, the Discipline panel authorizes the College to withdraw the allegations of professional misconduct and/or incompetence set out in the Notice of Hearing against Angus Shiva Mungal on the agreed upon terms as follows:
That the Member will resign as a Member of the Ontario College of Teachers and his certificate of qualification and registration will be cancelled;
That the Member surrender the original of his certificate of qualification and registration to the Registrar of the Ontario College of Teachers, or an affidavit outlining the efforts he undertook to locate it; and
That the Member provide the Registrar with a letter of remorse.
