COMMITMENT

I, MARQUIS LAJEUNESSE, member of the Ontario College of Teachers, agreed to the following:

1. I resign my membership in the Ontario College of Teachers and hereby return my certificate of qualification (attached).

2. I understand that the public registry of the Ontario College of Teachers will bear a note stating that I resigned while a Notice of Hearing was presented to the Discipline Committee of the College.

3. I understand that the College will withdraw the allegations against me before the Discipline Committee on October 19, 2005.

4. I hereby commit not to teach or supply teach without a certificate of qualification in any public or private school in the province of Ontario or elsewhere.

5. I understand that if I apply to reinstate my certificate of qualification, the Registrar can investigate on my health and qualifications and, with my consent, could refer the allegations indicated in the Notice of Hearing to the Fitness to Practise Committee.

6. I confirm that I was able to seek advice from independent legal counsel before signing this commitment.
