The member was not present and there was no one present to represent him.
On September 27, 1999 the Discipline Committee of the Ontario College of Teachers found Paul William Tweedie guilty of professional misconduct. The Committee agreed to reconvene on January 27, 2000 to hear submissions on the issue of penalty, at the request of Paul William Tweedie.
The Committee hereby revokes the temporary suspension of the Certificate of Qualification and Registration imposed at the hearing on September 27, 1999.
After reviewing the evidence and testimony presented on January 27, 2000 the Committee orders the Registrar to revoke Paul William Tweedie’s Certificate of Qualification and Registration immediately.
Pursuant to Section 30(5)(iii) of the Ontario College of Teachers Act, the Committee orders that the findings of this hearing, as well as the name of the member, be published in the official publication of the Ontario College of Teachers.
The Committee also orders that, in any publication, whether that of the College or in any media, that the name of the student and child not be published and that they may only be identified by two initials.
