Henry Guirand did not appear and was not represented.
The evidence which was admitted by the committee established the following:
The Ontario College of Teachers’ counsel, Caroline Zayid, advised the panel that Henry Guirand had requested an adjournment and that the College’s counsel did not object to the adjournment. It was noted by counsel that Henry Guirand had undertaken not to practice teaching until the hearing which is scheduled for the week of July 13, 1998.
The panel agreed to the adjournment to the week of July 13, 1998.
