1The CICB issued a Notice of Intent to Dismiss this Application without a hearing pursuant to Rule 5.1 of the CICB’s Rules of Procedure.
2The Applicant responded to the notice by providing written submissions.
Decision
3After reviewing the Applicant’s submissions I will permit the Application to proceed to adjudication at a full hearing on the merits pursuant to Rule 5.3 of the CICB’s Rules of Procedure.
4The CICB, however, would like to point out that the resumption of the processing of this Application does not mean that compensation will automatically be awarded. Rather, the CICB is simply allowing this Application to resume its processing within the CICB. This Application will be considered based upon the evidence presented at any hearing before the CICB in accordance with the provisions of the CVCA.
