4The CFSRB determined the Application was eligible to proceed under subsections 120(4)4 and 120(4)5 of the Act. A pre-hearing videoconference in this matter was held on January 19, 2026 (“January 19th Pre-Hearing).
The Applicant did not attend the January 19th Pre-Hearing
5The Applicant did not attend the scheduled pre-hearing. The CFSRB Case Processing Officer attempted to contact the Applicant by telephone and email but was unable to reach him. Due to the Applicant’s absence, the pre-hearing was adjourned
The Applicant did not respond as directed in the January 19,2026 Pre-Hearing Report (“PHR”)
6The PHR directed the Applicant to respond to the CFSRB and indicate his availability for a pre-hearing during the week of January 26, 2026. He was also directed to provide the CFSRB with an explanation for why he did not attend the January 19th Pre-Hearing.
7The Applicant was notified that if he did not respond to the CFSRB by January 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m., the Application would be dismissed as abandoned.
8The Applicant did not contact the CFSRB by January 21, 2026 or at any time up to today. I conclude that he has abandoned the Application and it must be dismissed.
