OVERVIEW AND ANALYSIS
The Applicant filed her Application with the CFSRB on October 31, 2025. The Application was found eligible to proceed under sections 120(4)4 and 120(4)5 on November 5, 2025. The Respondent filed their response on November 12, 2025.
In its Response, the Respondent indicated it had minimal involvement in the Applicant’s file. The limited details provided by the Applicant made it unclear whether the complaint involves the Respondent and its workers.
A Case Management Direction dated November 14, 2025 (“November 14 CMD”), directed the Applicant to provide written submissions to the CFSRB and the Respondent providing more details and specific information about her complaints, referencing specific events and workers if applicable by November 19, 2025. The Respondent was given the opportunity to respond by November 24, 2025.
The Applicant did not provide submissions by November 19, 2025 as directed.
On November 24, 2025, the Respondent emailed the CFSRB and the Applicant noting that it had not received any correspondence from the Applicant by November 19, 2025, and as such will not be providing any additional information.
The Applicant replied to the Respondent and the CFSRB stating, “What kind of information are you looking for - I have all the proofs.”
Later, on November 24, 2025, the CFSRB emailed the Applicant copying the Respondent, to confirm whether she had received the November 14 CMD. The email contained a copy of the November 14 CMD. The Applicant advised that she had not previously received the November 14 CMD.
On November 24, 2025, a new Case Management Direction was emailed to the Applicant and Respondent (“November 24 CMD”). The Applicant confirmed receipt of the November 24 CMD.
The November 24 CMD directed the Applicant to email written submissions to the CFSRB and the Respondent, as had previously been directed in the November 14 CMD, by November 26, 2025. The Respondent was given the opportunity to reply by December 1, 2025.
The November 24 CMD stated at paragraph 11, “If the Applicant does not provide submissions as outlined… the application may be dismissed as abandoned.”
The Applicant did not provide submissions by November 26, 2025 as directed.
I conclude that the Applicant has abandoned her Application and it must be dismissed.
ORDER
The Application is dismissed.
