Introduction
1This is an Application filed with the Child and Family Services Review Board (“CFSRB”) under section 120 of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017, SO 2017, c.14, Sched.1 (the “Act”).
2This decision explains why the Application is not eligible for review by the CFSRB.
background
3The Applicant is concerned about the well-being of a child who she previously fostered. He was placed with another family for adoption approximately nine months ago. He recently returned to the Applicant’s care. The Applicant is also concerned about poor communication and lack of professionalism by the Respondent’s workers.
ANALYSIS
4In order for an Application under section 120 of the Act to be eligible for review by the CFSRB, the Applicant must have been seeking or receiving a service from a children’s aid society.
5Foster parents are considered to be service providers rather than service recipients. As a result, the Application is not eligible for review by the CFSRB.
order
6The Application is dismissed.
