An Appeal to the Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Appeal Tribunal by Brenelm Farms Ltd., Tavistock, Ontario (Jim and Phyllis Wilhelm) and by Patron Farms Ltd., St. Paul’s, Ontario (Ron and Pat Wouters) from decisions/directions of the Ontario Pork Producers’ Marketing Board (OPPMB) scheduled for hearing on July 26 and 27, 2006.

THE REQUEST TO THE TRIBUNAL
Mr. Robert Shapiro representative of the appellants, Jim and Phyllis Wilhelm, of the Brenhelm Farms, and Ron and Pat Wouters, of the Patron Farms Ltd. , St. Paul’s, Ontario requested an adjournment of the hearing scheduled to commence by the Tribunal on July 25, 2006. This request was considered in Ottawa, Ontario on July 14, 2006.
Submissions
Mr. Shapiro submitted his request for adjournment to the Tribunal by way of facsimile dated July 11, 2006. It stipulated that his clients are currently attempting to resolve some of the issues that were to be presented to the Tribunal, and that if that objective is not attained satisfactorily, his clients will be proceeding with the appeal to the Tribunal on dates to be arranged between the Tribunal and the parties.
Mr. Foran, counsel to the Ontario Pork Producers’ Marketing Board, by letter dated July 11, 2006 consented to the requested adjournment.
ORDER OF THE TRIBUNAL
After careful consideration of the submissions made to the Tribunal regarding this instant matter. The conclusion reached with respect to the same is that Justice will be served by granting the requested adjournment and the Tribunal so orders. Should the parties fail to resolve the dispute in question one month from the date of this order, then, a date for a hearing before the Tribunal shall be arranged between the Tribunal and the parties.
