1The applicant filed this Application alleging that the respondents discriminated against him contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H. 19, as amended.

2The parties consented to take part in a mediation scheduled for May 17, 2017. All parties were notified of the date, time and location of the mediation by Notice of Rescheduled Mediation dated March 28, 2017.

3The applicant did not attend the mediation and did not contact the Tribunal before or after the mediation to explain his absence. By Registrar’s Letter dated June 22, 2017, 2017, the Tribunal advised the applicant that, by July 3, 2017, he was required to inform the Tribunal and the respondents in writing whether he intended to proceed with the Application. In the Letter, the Tribunal specifically advised the applicant that if he did not respond to the Letter, the Tribunal might dismiss his Application as abandoned.

4The applicant did not respond to the Tribunal’s letter, nor has he communicated with the Tribunal in any way in response to the letter.

5In the above circumstances, the Application is dismissed as abandoned.
