1The applicant filed an Application alleging that the respondents breached a settlement contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H. 19, as amended. The applicant alleged that the respondent did not send him the settlement funds within the time frame set out in the settlement. In its Response, the respondent Century Transportation Ltd. acknowledged its error and confirmed that it had paid the settlement funds to the applicant.
2On August 10, 2017, the Tribunal sent the parties a letter directing the applicant to advise the Tribunal within 7 days whether he intended to proceed further with the Application, failing which the Tribunal would dismiss it as abandoned.
3The Tribunal sent the letter to the applicant by regular mail and e-mail at the addresses included in his Application. They were not returned as undeliverable.
4The applicant did not respond to the letter and the time for doing so has passed.
5In the circumstances, the applicant is deemed to have abandoned the Application.
ORDER
6The Application is dismissed.
