1The applicant filed an Application under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), on July 31, 2017.

2On October 3, 2017, the Tribunal issued a Notice of Intent to Dismiss the Application (“NOID”) on the basis that the Application appeared to be outside the Tribunal’s jurisdiction. The Tribunal directed the applicant to respond to the issues raised in the NOID by November 2, 2017, failing which the Tribunal might dismiss the Application as abandoned.

3On November 20, 2017, the Tribunal sent the applicant a letter directing her to respond to the NOID by November 27, 2017, failing which the Application might be dismissed as abandoned.

4The Tribunal sent the NOID by mail, and the November 20, 2017 letter by email, to the addresses provided in the Application. Neither was returned as undeliverable.

5The applicant has not responded to either the NOID or the Tribunal’s November 20, 2017 letter, and the time for doing so has now passed.

6In the circumstances, the applicant is deemed to have abandoned the Application.

7The Application is dismissed.
