1The applicant filed an Application under the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), on May 12, 2107.

2On July 7, 2017, the Registrar notified the applicant that the Application appeared to be outside the Tribunal’s jurisdiction as it failed to identify any specific acts of discrimination within the meaning of the Code allegedly committed by the respondent. The Registrar directed the applicant to make submissions on the issue by August 8, 2017, failing which the Tribunal would make its decision based only on the information in the Application, or might dismiss the Application as abandoned.

3The Registrar’s notice was returned to the Tribunal by Canada Post marked “Moved/Unknown.”

4On August 2, 2017, the Tribunal directed the applicant by email to provide updated contact information by August 31, 2017. The Registrar's July 7 notice was attached to the email. The email was sent to the email address provided by the applicant and was not returned as undeliverable. The Tribunal has not received a response to its email.

5In all of the circumstances, the applicant is deemed to have abandoned the Application and the Application is dismissed.
