Citation: 2017 HRTO 1072
Indexed as: Sulit v. Artemano
1The applicant filed an Application under the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), on March 7, 2017.
2On July 11, 2017, the Registrar advised that the Application appeared to be outside the Tribunal’s jurisdiction as it failed to identify any specific acts of discrimination within the meaning of the Code. The Registrar directed the applicant to provide submissions on the issue by August 10, 2017, failing which the Tribunal might dismiss the Application as abandoned.
3The Registrar’s July 11, 2017 letter was sent by regular mail to the address provided by the applicant, and was not returned as undeliverable.
4The applicant has not responded to the letter and the time to do so has now passed.
