The applicant filed an Application under the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), on January 2, 2013.
On March 5, 2013, this Tribunal deferred the Application pending the completion of related grievance proceedings. The Tribunal continued to defer the Application over the next few years, based on the applicant’s advice that the grievances remained in progress.
On May 8, 2017, the Registrar directed the applicant to advise within 30 days whether the grievances were still ongoing, failing which the Tribunal might dismiss the Application as abandoned.
On July 25, 2017, the Tribunal reminded the applicant to provide the required information by August 2, 2017, failing which the Application might be dismissed as abandoned.
The Registrar’s May 8, 2017 letter was sent by regular mail to the address provided by the applicant, and again as an attachment to the Tribunal’s July 25, 2017 letter, which was sent by email to the email address provided by the applicant.
The applicant has not responded to either the letter or email and the time to do so has now passed.
