1This matter is scheduled for hearing on April 11 and 12, 2016, in Sudbury.
2On February 26, 2016, the Tribunal issued an Interim Decision 2016 HRTO 265 which denied a Request to adjourn the hearing. However, the Tribunal did grant the parties an extension of time to file their hearing documents until March 18, 2016.
3As of this date, the applicant has not filed any documents and/or witness statements with the Tribunal and the time for doing so has long passed. The applicant has not contacted the Tribunal in writing to seek a further extension of time.
4I note that in the Interim Decision the applicant was warned that if he did not file these documents by March 18, 2016, that the Tribunal could dismiss the Application as abandoned.
5In these circumstances, the Application is dismissed as abandoned and the scheduled hearing is accordingly cancelled.
