Introduction
1The applicant filed an Application under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19 as amended, on July 22, 2015.
2On March 23, 2016, the Tribunal sent a letter, by both regular mail and email, to the applicant requesting that he provide dates to reschedule a previously scheduled mediation. This letter inadvertently indicated the Tribunal wished to reschedule a hearing not a mediation. In any event, the applicant did not respond to the letter.
3A follow-up letter was sent on July 4, 2016 requiring the applicant for confirm his intentions with respect to this Application and directing the applicant to provide the HRTO with dates for rescheduling. The applicant was informed that if he did not advise the HRTO of his intentions by July 14, 2016 the Application could be dismissed as abandoned. The applicant did not respond to this request.
4To date, the applicant has not responded to any of the Tribunal’s correspondence.
5In the circumstances, the applicant is deemed to have abandoned the Application.
6The Application is dismissed.
