Interim Decision
Adjudicator: Naomi Overend Date: July 20, 2015 Citation: 2015 HRTO 955 Indexed as: Siddiqui v. Can-Pro Tools Inc.

Mashhood Siddiqui, Applicant Self-represented
1This Application alleges discrimination with respect to employment because of family status contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”).
2The applicant filed a Request for an Order During Proceedings (Forms 10) asking to amend his Application to include the grounds of reprisal, marital status and age. The respondents have not filed a Response to the Request and the time for doing so has now passed.
3In light of the timely requests to amend, the relatively early stage of the proceedings, the nature of the amendments and the respondents’ apparent lack of objection, the applicant’s request is granted. The respondents shall have until August 7, 2015, to file any amended Response.
4The applicant has also sought production of documents. This request is premature. Once the Notice of Hearing is issued, the parties have 21 days to deliver to each other all arguably relevant documents in their possession. If, at that stage, the applicant does not receive the requested documents, he can bring a new Request.
Dated at Toronto, this 20th day of July, 2015.
