Introduction
1This is an Application alleging discrimination on the grounds place of origin and disability contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”). The applicant also alleges that the respondent reprised against her contrary to the Code.
2On April 16, 2015, the Tribunal issued a Notice of Intent to Dismiss the Application (“NOID”). The NOID indicated that the Application appeared to be outside of the Tribunal’s jurisdiction because it failed to identify any acts that might amount to discrimination within the meaning of the Code.
3The NOID directed the applicant to file responding submissions on or before May 16, 2015, failing which the Tribunal would either make a decision based only on the information in the Application or dismiss the Application as abandoned.
4The applicant did not respond to the NOID. The Application is dismissed as abandoned.
