INTERIM DECISION
Adjudicator: Geneviève Debané
Indexed as: Chodha v. 1352866 ONTARIO INC. O/A Times Kitchen and Bath
WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS
Pardeep Chodha, Applicant
Self-represented
1On February 10, 2015, the Registrar issued a letter which deferred the Application. It should be noted that the deferral was unopposed by the parties.
2The applicant requested that the Application be reactivated. The applicant has provided to the Tribunal a decision dated March 11, 2015 from an Appeal Resolutions Officer at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
3The respondent has not responded to the Request to reactivate at the time for doing so has long passed.
4Having reviewed this matter I am satisfied that the other proceeding is concluded and that Application should be reactivated. The Tribunal shall continue to process the Application.
5I note that based on the materials filed by the applicant that the Ministry of Labour has determined that the respondent’s proper legal name is 1352866 ONTARIO INC. O/A Times Kitchen and Bath. I find that it is appropriate to include this name in the style of cause and the respondent can address any issues that it has with respect to its legal name in its Response.
Order
6The Tribunal orders that:
a. The Application is reactivated; and
b. Within 35 days of the date of this Interim Decision the respondent must file a detailed Form 2, Response.
7I am not seized.
Dated at Toronto, this 1st day of May, 2015.
