1This is an Application filed under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), alleging discrimination with respect to services because of race, ancestry, ethnic origin, sex, gender identity, marital status and record of offences.
2On February 18, 2015, the Tribunal sent the applicant a Delivery of Response and Notice of Request to Dismiss letter that advised her that the respondent requested dismissal of the Application because many of the events set out in the applicant are untimely. The Tribunal directed the applicant to file a Reply to the Response (Form 3) including complete submissions in response to the respondent’s request to dismiss by March 4, 2015.
3The letter warned the applicant that if she did not file written submissions by the specified date, then the Tribunal would make its decision based only on the information in the Application or may consider the failure to respond to be an abandonment of the Application and dismiss it for that reason. As of the date of this Decision, the applicant has not filed any submissions in response to the Tribunal’s letter of February 18, 2015. In the circumstances, it appears the applicant has abandoned the Application.
4The Application is dismissed as abandoned
