1This Application was scheduled for a hearing on March 23 and 24, 2015 in Sudbury by Notice of Hearing dated October 29, 2014.

2The Tribunal held a case management conference call with the parties on February 13, 2015 to discuss the relevant issues before the Tribunal and the parties’ disclosure relating to those issues. During the teleconference, the applicant advised that she intended to file counselling and medical records on the effects of the alleged discrimination.

3By Case Assessment Direction dated February 17, 2015, the Tribunal ordered the applicant and the respondent to produce to each other and file with the Tribunal the documents they intended to rely upon at the hearing and witness statements for the witnesses they intended to call, by February 27, 2015.

4The respondent filed its hearing documents on February 27, 2015. The applicant did not file any hearing documents and did not contact the Tribunal.

5The hearing proceeded on March 23, 2015. The applicant was not in attendance and in accordance with its usual practice, the Tribunal waited an additional thirty minutes for the applicant to attend. She did not appear at the hearing.

6The applicant has abandoned this Application for the following reasons: (a) she did not file her hearing documents as directed in the February 17, 2015 Case Assessment Direction; (b) she has had no contact with the Tribunal since the case management conference call on February 13, 2015; and (c) most importantly, she did not attend the hearing. Accordingly, the Application is dismissed as abandoned.
