1The complaint alleged discrimination because of disability contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the "Code"), in the special diet allowance provided under Ontario's social assistance system.
2Several pieces of correspondence sent by the Tribunal to the complainant's address have been returned as undeliverable. The complainant has not contacted the Tribunal regarding the complaint or to update her address with the Tribunal. The Tribunal asked the Ontario Human Rights Commission and the respondent to advise whether they had more recent contact information for the complaint than the address in the Tribunal's records. The Commission provided the Tribunal with the complainant's last known address from its records. The correspondence sent by the Tribunal to this address was also returned as undeliverable.
ORDER
3Under these circumstances, this complaint must be dismissed as abandoned.
