1This is an Application under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended.

2On April 23, 2014 the Tribunal wrote to the applicant asking that she confirm her intention to proceed with the Application and attend the hearing set to take place on October 10, 2014. The applicant did not respond to this direction.

3On April 25, 2014 the Tribunal contacted the applicant by telephone. The applicant indicated at that time that she intended to withdraw the Application. The applicant has not filed a Request to withdraw (Form 9) to date.

4On May 2, 2014 the Tribunal wrote to the applicant again and directed her to confirm her intention to withdraw the Application or proceed to the hearing. The applicant was further advised that if she did not respond to the Tribunal’s directions the Application may be dismissed as abandoned.

5The applicant has not responded to the Tribunal’s directions nor has she communicated with the Tribunal in any way.

6In all of the circumstances, the applicant is deemed to have abandoned the Application and it is dismissed.
