1This Application alleges discrimination with respect to employment because of sex and sexual solicitation contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”).
2The applicant has made a request that the Tribunal order the respondent to have no direct contact with her. She alleges that he has made harassing phone calls to her.
3Although the respondent has been provided with the request and has had an opportunity to respond to it, he has not done so.
4There is no need for the respondent to contact the applicant directly by telephone in order for him to properly defend this Application. In any event, as he is now represented by counsel, any communication between the parties is to be in writing and can be conducted between the applicant and the respondent’s counsel. The applicant’s request is granted.
