1These three Application were consolidated for the purposes of a Summary Hearing.
2On February 3, 2014 the Tribunal issued a Notice of Summary Hearing to the parties confirming that the summary hearing of the Applications would take place on April 16, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. via telephone conference. The Notice provided the parties with directions on how to participate in the conference call. The Notice was delivered to the applicants at the last address provided by them to the Tribunal and was not returned as undeliverable.
3I am satisfied that the applicants had notice of the hearing.
4The applicants were not in attendance at the commencement of the scheduled hearing. In accordance with its usual practice, the Tribunal waited until 2:00 p.m. before proceeding.
5At 10:00 a.m. the applicants were not in attendance nor had the applicants communicated with the Tribunal to explain their failure to attend.
6In the circumstances, the Applications were dismissed on the basis that the applicants were deemed to have abandoned the Applications.
7The Applications are dismissed.
