Introduction

1This is an Application filed under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”).

2This Application is scheduled for hearing on March 28, 2014.

3On March 21, 2014, the Tribunal issued a Case Assessment Direction. It noted that the Tribunal had not heard from the applicant for some time and that neither party had filed any documents or witness statements. The Case Assessment Direction directed the applicant to notify the Registrar and the respondent’s counsel no later than noon on March 26, 2014, that he will be attending the hearing and that, if the applicant fails to notify the Registrar and the respondent’s counsel by noon on March 26, 2014, this Application may be dismissed as abandoned.

4To date the Tribunal has not received any communication from the applicant. It appears that the applicant has abandoned the Application, and it is dismissed on that basis.
