1The applicant filed this Application under section 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), alleging discrimination in employment on the basis of race. A hearing is scheduled to take place on February 4 and 5, 2015.
2The applicant filed a Request for Order During Proceeding (“Request”) seeking to amend the Application to add the ground of reprisal based on facts already plead in the Application.
3The respondent did not respond to the Request.
4In the circumstances it appears that the requested amendment will not alter the nature of the hearing in any material way. Accordingly, the Request is granted. If the respondent intends to respond to the amended Application they shall do so within 21 days of the date of this Interim Decision.
5I am not seized of this case.
