1The Application alleged discrimination because of disability contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), in the special diet allowance provided under Ontario’s social assistance system. The applicant is now deceased. By letter dated September 12, 2014, the Tribunal wrote to the applicant’s Estate, at the address the applicant provided to the Tribunal. In the letter, the Tribunal advised that it required confirmation of who is authorized to act on behalf of the estate and also to confirm the estate’s intention’s in regards to the applicant’s Application with the Tribunal. In the letter, the Tribunal directed the estate trustee or other representative to respond by October 3, 2014, or the Application might be dismissed as abandoned.

ORDER
3In these circumstances, the Application is dismissed as abandoned.
