1This Application was filed pursuant to s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), and alleges discrimination in employment.
2The respondent filed a Response to the Application on June 26, 2014. On June 30, 2014, the Tribunal shared the respondent’s Response (Form 2) with the applicant, and explained that the applicant may file a Reply (Form 3) to the respondent’s Response by no later than July 14, 2014.
3In a Case Assessment Direction, dated July 25, 2014, the Tribunal directed the applicant to file a Reply to the respondent’s Response, within 21 days of the date of the Case Assessment Direction. The Tribunal advised the applicant that if the applicant did not deliver and file a Reply within the time specified, the Tribunal may consider the Application to be abandoned and dismiss it on that basis.
4As of the date of this Decision, the applicant has not filed a Reply. In the circumstances, the Tribunal deems the applicant to have abandoned the Application.
5The Application is dismissed.
