Indexed as: Edwards v. Ontario (Community and Social Services)
1The complaint alleged discrimination because of disability contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. In an Interim Decision, 2014 HRTO 803, the Tribunal directed the complainant to file certain materials if he wished to proceed with his complaint in relation to extreme obesity and cardiovascular disease.
2The Interim Decision advised the complainant that if the complainant did not provide these materials, the claims with respect to these conditions would be dismissed as abandoned.
3The complainant has not filed any materials nor communicated with the Tribunal in any manner about the claim with respect to the above conditions.
ORDER
4In the above circumstances, the complainant’s remaining claims with respect to extreme obesity and cardiovascular disease are dismissed as abandoned.
Dated at Toronto, this 13th day of August, 2014.
