WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS

London Police Service, Respondent Frank A. Angeletti, Counsel
Minto Properties Inc., Respondent Maria Mavrikkou, Counsel
G4S Secure Solutions (Canada) Ltd, Respondent Tina Baldwin, Representative
1This Application alleges discrimination contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”). A Summary Hearing is scheduled to take place on September 2, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. via telephone conference.
2The London Police Service Board was added as a respondent to the Application by G4S Secure Solutions (Canada) Ltd. when it filed its Response.
3The applicant has delivered and filed a Request for an Order During Proceeding seeking the removal of the London Police Board as a respondent. No party has opposed this Request.
4In light of the applicant’s Request in which she has clearly indicated that she does not wish the London Police Service to be a respondent in these proceedings and that it is unopposed by any other party I find that it is appropriate to grant the applicant’s Request.
5The Case Assessment Direction which directed a Summary Hearing advised the parties to deliver and file any further documents and case law no later than 28 days prior to the Summary Hearing. The applicant also requests that the deadline to exchange these documents be abridged to 14 days prior to the Summary Hearing. This request is also unopposed. I find therefore that it is appropriate to also grant this Request.
ORDER
6The Tribunal orders:
a. The London Police Service is removed as a respondent and the style of cause shall be amended to reflect this change in any future decision; and;
b. The parties must deliver to each other and file with the Tribunal copies of any further documents and case law they intend to rely on at the Summary Hearing no later than 14 days prior to the Summary Hearing.
7I am not seized.
Dated at Toronto, this 12th day of August, 2014.
