1This is an Application filed under section 34 of Part IV of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”)
2The respondent filed a Request for Order During Proceedings (Request) on May 5, 2014 seeking the dismissal of the Application because it was beyond the jurisdiction of the Tribunal to decide. The applicant did not respond to the Request.
3On June 24, 2014 the Tribunal wrote to the applicant and directed that he respond to the Request before July 2, 2014. The Tribunal also advised the applicant that if he did not provide his submissions by July 2, 2014 his Application would be dismissed as abandoned.
4The applicant did not respond to the Tribunal’s Directions and in the circumstances is deemed to have abandoned the Application. The Application is dismissed.
