1The applicant filed an Application alleging discrimination because of disability contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. c. H. 19, as amended (the “Code”). A dispute has arisen between the parties over the scheduling of the hearing in this matter.
2The Tribunal’s Registrar sent two letters asking the applicant to select a hearing date from among the dates provided by the respondent. The Tribunal has also issued two Case Assessment Directions (“CAD”) directing the applicant to select a hearing date from among those provided by the respondent.
3In the first CAD, the Tribunal advised the applicant that her Application might be dismissed as abandoned if she did not respond within 7 days of the date of the CAD. In the second CAD, the Tribunal provided the applicant a further 7 days to respond from the date of the second CAD and advised her that her Application would be dismissed if she did not respond to the CAD.
4The applicant did not respond to the CAD nor has she communicated with the Tribunal in any way.
DIRECTION
5In these circumstances, this Application is dismissed as abandoned.
