1In Tribunal Interim Decision 2011 HRTO 301, this Application was deferred at the request of the applicant pending the conclusion of another proceeding before the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
2On May 11, 2012, the Tribunal wrote to the applicant seeking an update on the status of the other proceeding. The applicant responded on May 28, 2012, that the other proceeding was not completed. On June 28, 2012, the applicant wrote to the Tribunal and indicated that the other proceeding may be completed. The applicant took no steps to reactive this Application in accordance with Rule 14.
3On March 4, 2013, the Tribunal wrote to the applicant requesting that he advise it of the status of the other proceeding within 30 days. The applicant was also advised that if he did not do respond the Application may be dismissed as abandoned.
4The applicant has not responded to the Tribunal’s latest request for the status of the other proceeding although the time for doing so has passed. The applicant has not had any communication with the Tribunal since June 2012.
5In all of the circumstances ,I find that the applicant has abandoned this Application and it must be dismissed.
