1This is an Application filed under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”).

2The Application provides background information concerning the applicant’s involvement with various organizations and individuals. In regard to the Kingston Police Force, the Application states that two officers came to his house in February 2012 because they had received information that he might cause harm. The applicant states that the information was wrong.

3On January 24, 2013, the Tribunal issued a Notice of Intent to Dismiss because the Application did not appear to identify anything that the Tribunal has the power to deal with. The applicant was invited to make submissions about this.

4The applicant sent correspondent to the Tribunal on May 3, 2013, indicating that he believes that the Kingston Police Force is withholding evidence and speaking to family members without his consent.

5The Tribunal does not have general power to review the conduct of the police or to deal with all allegations of unfair or improper treatment. The Tribunal can only deal with the specific areas and grounds of discrimination that are set out in the Code.

6On the basis of the information provided by the applicant, it appears that the Tribunal does not have the power to deal with the complaints and allegations that he has made out against the Kingston Police Force. For this reason, the Application is dismissed.
