Introduction

1This is an Application filed under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the "Code").

2By Case Assessment Direction dated January 23, 2013, the Tribunal directed a Summary Hearing. On March 4, 2013, the Tribunal mailed a Notice of Summary Hearing to both parties scheduling the summary hearing for May 7, 2013 by teleconference. The Notice of Summary Hearing included a dial-in number. The applicant did not dial in. As is its practice, the Tribunal waited a half hour before terminating the hearing and dismissing the Application as abandoned.

3I am satisfied that the applicant received timely and proper notice of the summary hearing. As the applicant did not participate or communicate with the Tribunal before the summary hearing, I dismiss the Application as abandoned.
